Mountain vineyards of Aigialeia at an altitude of 1000 m. Harvest takes place in late September.
Grapes are carefully picked, lightly bruised and pressed in a wooden wine press and placed into open barrels until fermentation is completed. The wine is then decanted into new, 228 litre barrels, where it remains for 18-20 months for malolactic fermentation and maturation.
Vibrant red colour with pronounced shades of violet. Intense aromas of red fruit and mint, with mild herbaceous notes and hints of coffee. An elegant palate with refined tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is long with a prevailing taste of fruit.
Meats with red or creamy sauces, pasta and risotto.
