Varietal Composition

Mavro Kalavritino 50%, Merlot 50%


Mountain vineyards, situated at an altitude of 700-800 m, surrounding the Mega Spileo vineyard. Harvest takes place in late September.


Blending of two varieties. Pre-fermentative extraction at low temperatures and alcoholic fermentation in small tanks. Part of the wine matures in new oak barrels for an additional 4 months.

Flavour profile

Deep red colour with blue hues. Aromas of black fruits, with mild grassiness set against cocoa and vanilla. Pleasant density in the mouth with a velvety texture, rounded tannins and a fruity finish.


Grilled or braised meats, burgers, pizza, yellow cheeses.
